A friend of mine who was an engine builder with a Nascar team is building a 531 ci. Ford FE, pond iron block, for another person with Edelbrock heads and Victor intake. He is porting the heads and intake himself. He is using the same cam that we have in our 511ci. FE. Everything is about the same as our engine, except he will have more cubic inches because of the larger bore. I think the truck is a 70's something pickup, short bed. I have not seen the truck, just looked at the engine. It should put out more than our engine at 767 hp n.a.
It should scoot pretty well. I'll post some pictures when he gets it finished.
He brought the intake over to show me what he has done to the ports. Very nice work.

Yep, I'll get some pictures soon. The owner of the truck is a young guy who is having work done when he gets extra money, so it looks like this build will take awhile. I will go to the shop today or tomorrow and take some pictures of the block, heads and intake.
