Looks exciting. How much power does that put out? Will the rest of the drivetrain handle it?

It's the 624 HP Ford Racing blower. The MT82 will not take it forever, but should in the near term. Ben Calimer rebuilds them far superior to stock so I may do that at some point. The Tremec is a good option as well, but I'd like to keep it as close to stock as possible since it's really a 1 of 1 car. Shelby American in Vegas made 36 GT350's in 2013, and 12 were convertibles. Only 1 was a Widebody Convertible, and this is that car. The W/B option was 18k so almost everyone passed on it. This car was 43k to start with, had the 34k GT350 "Package", and had 32k in options! Crazy. Rest assured I got it at a substantial discount.

Does the Widebody option make my butt look fat?

LOL, a supercharged Mustang, and a Fusion Hybrid, you're a man of extremes eh?
Nice Mustang, and I wouldn't care if it made my butt look fat!

Yeah, well the hybrid is me just playing the stupid liberals game in CA to use the carpool lane. Saves me an hour a day, so whatever I value my time at- it pays for itself. It's actually surprisingly nice to drive with the adaptive cruise control, Sirius, CVT, etc.

I'm much more of a Hot Rodder at heart.

I'm hot rodder as well, and I particularly like Mustangs. And I can appreciate good engineering when I see it. But my daily driver is zero-emissions.

Any idea what the ( 624 crank hp ) kit puts to the tires ?
( SAI isn't known for putting their conversions on the dyno )

It's the standard FR kit, so right about 525 to the wheels. With the rear rims being 20x13's with 345's it should do the quarter mile in about 11.5 seconds.

I've seen several cars dyno'd at SAI. Watched a Super Snake put 870 to the wheels!

I talked to a good friend who has an '11 GT350 and he said all I need to bump the RWHP by 80 and get to 605 is a cold air intake and tune. I've seen his dyno at that, so I think I'll do that eventually. First things first, I'm going to try smogging and registering it tomorrow.

Good luck with that. A lot of the cold air intakes aren't CARB approved. My brother-in-law can't get one shipped to CA for a '14 Raptor. Cool car.

You must post pictures, and maybe videos of some acceleration tests.

BTW, I just heard that the last Holden was produced yesterday, and you folks won't be building any more cars on your island.

I do have some pictures under projects its still a long way from it being done. Just been trying to get all the running gear needed for it. I have motor and gearbox front end is being build for it now and have to still order a diff setup for it. And yes no Holden's and Fords no car are being made over here at all.
