I used to see these on the road in LA periodically... The post on the HP says it was ahead of it's time, and I think the writer is right. What do you think?

 

I want to say they continued making this for the Mexican market? Seem to remember something like that.

 

I think it looks like a Sportrac with a bigger bed.... Not my cup of tea.

 

Blackwood didn't sell worth a hoot, was soon discontinued. Some people liked them, but most people didn't. It was also very expensive.

I bought a new 2004 F150 2WD Lariat Stupor Crew. With all the toys, it was about 45 grand.

F150 Platinum with all the toys was about 50 grand, Blackwood was even more expensive than the Platinum.

Cadillac introduced in 1903, Lincoln introduced in 1921. 1991 was the first year that Lincoln outsold Cadillac, mainly due to the sales of the new Navigator.

 

I thought 1997 was the first year the Navigator went into production.
