I tried to pop start the truck, it didn't go as I thought. A mechanic friend told me it could just be cranking slow, he told me to try a 4low pop to really get the engine going to generate spark. He pulled me to the top of a big hill out front, I let it rip to 30-35mph and forced it into 1st (it wouldn't go easily for some reason, I had to force it with a little grind)...needless to say it was one of the most violent things I've ever experienced. The truck jumped and bucked almost like I was in 10 accidents at once, then this horrendous noise came from underneath like metal banging. My drive shafts flew out of the side of the truck, not before it punched a gaping hole in my front gas tank. It looks like they both broke the spinny things that the u joints mount to. Now my truck is at the bottom of the hill and my mechanic buddy went back to work. He gives me discounts on parts, he's at the local auto zone.

get rid of the efi, get rid of the carb, get a horse and buggy; no stupid float bowls or fuel pumps to mess with.

I think a horse has more attitude overall than my 3 trucks but I'd swear they have pms like symptoms occasonally. Then again maybe I just haven't found a good horse.

I had to change my first reply. I can't believe what I just read.

I never use the back barrels on my holley 950. Can I use them to spray ants in my backyard?

Have you tried an assortment of stickers to increase crank HP and speed?

I don't have any stickers on the truck, but I do still have the k&n sticker from the couple hundred I spent replacing the more-than-adequate stock airbox for their performance boosting cold air intake. I think I also have the sticker that came with my throttle body spacer.

Any particular place you'd recommend?

I think to keep the heat out as well, plaster them all over your windshield.

Good suggestion. Since I tinted my windshield halfway down so I can barely see already, I think that'd be a good complement to the visible section.

Did you use flat black or gloss black spray paint to tint your windshield? Stickers may peel off flat black if you apply them when it's cold out. I apply my stickers over Bondi patches to save the headache of matching faded paint.

Gloss is the only way to go to refract the light and heat into the eyes of your enemies.
