You should find the thread about putting a VW engine in a truck, and send a message to the OP of that thread he may have some advice.

My new 21 year old used truck runs like crap. What's wrong with it?

(Yeah, I know technically that doesn't count, but it's one of my favorites.)

I've never done any maintenance and I'm at my wits end trying to figure out why it doesn't run right, and the tires wear funny.

Above your original post is says NORMAL POST. It is obvious your truck has serious non-normal problems. So I would post in the abnormal post section. Tires wear, some do funny. R and R them. Simple enough on this one problem. Sandy

I really don't blame you one bit. Those lug nuts can be quite pesky. Then there is the dangerous jack thing or whatever it's called. I'd just run with them tars till the POW happens and then call a mobile mechanic. I love solving problems.

I don't want to work on it, don't want to spend any money, just want it to work. Miracle style.

I am a highly trained professional mechanic with years of experience and training. I don't know how to diagnose my truck and I don't have any tools to diagnose it. But I want more power, right now. When I put a tuner on my truck it doesn't run right. What is wrong with it? If I don't seem to be able to use logic to put two and two together, that is your fault. Don't confuse me with facts or say anything I don't hold near and dear to my heart. By the way, let me say in advance, I don't listen to anything I don't want to hear because it is automatically wrong. I know this.

I got this . ^^ you bought the wrong tuner.
don't care what kind you got,
if it's not a pioneer or Sony something like that you wasted your money.

I tried while wearing my Alcoa aluminum tin foil hat and it seems to work better ??? Maybe too much static from my brainwaves?

eat a 5 pound can of Bushes BBQ and onion baked beans, and 2 pounds of brussels sprouts. then run a tube from the driver side seat bottom to the intake. the extra gas will add at least 150 hp.
