Part number for factory 2" rear lift block for F250

I don't have my factor rear lift block (the one with the ear for the bump stop).

Is supposed to be a 2" block (i think it has some taper to tilt the pinion upward). I would like to get/buy this factory block. Can someone help me figure out the part number?

I have the F250 4x4 with the Dana 60 semi-floating rear.

Does the F250HD and F350 use the same block?

Do the 2x4 and 4x4 use the same block?

Are there other years (i.e. 87 - 91) that use the same block.

The longer the use of this part the better chance I can find a used one on e-bay or such.

f250/f250HD uses the same block. F350 uses a taller block. You could measure them, but I am thinking a f150 4x4 uses the same block as a f250/f250HD.

I never have had a 2wd truck to stare at, but I am thinking it has a different block than the 4x4's do. The 2wd has a narrower rear spring.

I don't know if this helps much, but my 1982 F150 4x4 uses a 2" block. My 1986 F350 4x4 uses a 3" block but it has the D60 straight axle up front and positive arch front leaf springs. Mid year 1985 and down F350 still used the D50 TTB and might have shorter blocks like the F250's. I would think the 2" blocks would be common through the 1990's trucks.

Thanks. I'm looking for the 2" block. So, F250 or F250HD 4x4 should have the correct 2" tall spacer block.

I replaced my factory rear springs and the lift-kit 6" block I added twenty years ago, with a new set of soft ride 4" lift springs. Now I find that I need the factory 2" block to get the height/alignment I need.

I can buy a 2" spacer if the factory blocks are not available - but I figure there are plenty of factory blocks out there in owner's garages from people like me that previously did a lift kit using blocks.

They're pretty common so it shouldn't be too hard to find a set. I have several pairs of them if you can't find anything locally. The taller F350 blocks used with the Dana 60 front axle are harder to find but I think the 150 and 250 4x4s used the same blocks.

I am not sure what your theory is on everyone having factory blocks laying around. My truck has a 4 inch lift, so it has the 4 inch lift blocks AND the factory blocks also. If I want a 4 inch lift or a 6 inch lift, and the kit comes with 4 or 6 inch blocks, I would not want to take out the 2 inch factory block. And like you mentioned before, they have the bumpstop arm on them, so you need to keep the factory blocks on top of the lift kit blocks to hit the bumpstops.

Can't put them on the web site st the moment, but you can see from the illustration that we are looking for 5729 for all but the F350, and 5598 for the F350 - as explained by the footnotes:

Here's 5729:

And here's 5598:

Thanks Gary.

So the F150/250/350 4X4 are the same part from 1980 to 1985.

Then in 1985 the F350 4x4 got a new part.

'87-96 F150/F250 and '97 F-250HD should be the same as the '80-86 as well.

Confusing 1980/89 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog applications:

EOTZ-5729-B .. Rear Spring Spacer

1980/(89) F150/350 4WD; 1985/(89) F150/250 4WD
-------------------------------------------------------------
Parts catalog sez also refer to group 5598:

E5TZ-5598-A .. Rear Spring Spacer

1985/89 F350 4WD Regular & Super Cab.
----------------------------------------------
E5TZ-5598-B .. Rear Spring Spacer

1985/89 F350 4WD Cab & Chassis.

So, the question is, what is the rear spring spacer part number for a 1980/89 F350 4WD CREW Cab?

Thanks for all the help on this. I did find the factory spacers on E-bay for $80 (new), but in the end I bought aftermarket blocks from Superlift for $50 (with U-bolts, even though I already bought those separately).
