F-100 Super Nationals

Made it! There was some sort of scheduling problem and Most of the swap meet folks & other vendors were just getting setting up at 3:00.
I dropped off cool beverages at Kevin's spot for you fellow FTEers. Hopefully we'll have a good turnout at 3:30 tomorrow.

And of course MidFifty is here also.

I don't think it is new. Not sure why I didn't take a picture (old timers I suppose ) but I'll get one of their place tomorrow. They aren't in a tent next to the grand stand like two years ago (I didn't make it last year). Their in a building on the same row as Obsolete Classic, Vintage Glass and a few other Vendors.

Donald, the MidFifty banner is hanging on the same building as they were in last year. This can be seen in the photo above with the red 55 flatbed. Not sure if that is the "new" building or not.

Not this time. I just picked up the wife from the airport yesterday, she was in Lebanon for Mother's Day again this year but I did not go with her this year. Maybe next year.

Pictures! I don't care what they are, share them.
I like that 55 flatbed, although the bed looks a little too modern. I have been pondering a box under the front similar to that one. I was thinking wood though. My bed box will most likely be more than enough when I get working on that.

So Pigeon Forge this fall. How many do they have a year? Truckstock is two weeks before this.

If you didn't see Super Nationals is moving back to Pigeon Forge THIS YEAR Spet 28-30 2017. Trying to get everyone together was a bust. There was Kevin, Joe, Donald Walker and myself. And we were between Joe and Kevin's swap meet spots. Thought I'd bait folks to come with a promise of cold beverages (in the 90s). But it was still a pretty lame response. Joe even had a FTE Welcome banner.
I'm going to try it again around 11:00 tomorrow (Central daylight savings time) then head home. Missouri guys what ya think about a trip out to Pigeon Forge in Sept???
My camera is full of photos but it is acting up, hope it's just the heat. I took some pictures of interiors but not tons. If it starts working tomorrow I'll try to get more.

John met a father and son (both had red 56's) from Huntsville. They didn't seem to know of you though. Nice trucks!! The owner is in the picture.

.
Joe, that 55 is very nicely done, well proportioned bed. I remember seeing that truck several years back. It has a 351 with C6, later rear end and disk brakes up front. Some real nice work went into it. Do not look too closely at it, it's somewhat dark.
