Jag on craigs list, nor cal.(link)

I don't know what year jag fits what, but I saw this on CL and figured I would pass it on for someone searching for one. I just don't have it in me to do any major work. Plus I love my stock set up.https://chico.craigslist.org/cto/6118474846.html Peace and Love, guys.

I find it amazing how cheap these cars sell for. I've seen quite a few in the local CL for around $1000-1200 range. Not bad considering once you strip the front suspension you probably could part the rest out and get most of your money back.

Us ols Ford truck guys aren't the only ones to use these, I've read they fit a variety of old vehicles.

Boy isn't that the truth, expensive to buy new, then down into the hundreds? Is possible that folks that can afford them new, want the newest models ,and then the 2nd and 3rd hand buyers looking to drive an exotic car just cant afford to keep them up? Talk about a decline in value, eek!

No ignition no paperwork--It sounds (and looks) stolen to me! We once had our car stolen in Detroit right in broad daylight from a church parking lot. The ignition switch was punched out just like the Jag pictured in the ad. My car was found after several days, but I had to go and get it myself. Scary. The car was my 68 VIP. ...Also, the police never let me know that they found my car. I only found out because I called them after a few days to ask about the status of stolen my car. The police gave me an address for where my car had been seen. That was it. I left Detroit in 1972.

Good thinking, Jim It would probably be a very good idea to have local PD run the vin., prior to taking possession of it, or any paperless vehicle for that matter. It would sure be easier than catching a possession of stolen property charge to explain.

Not much of a market for Jag parts around here, Kansas. I bought one for the suspension, but the only parts that I could sell were the wire wheels and the steering wheel, ended up scrapping the rest.

same here, I keep the front and rear suspension, gas caps, shifter (has detents like a ratchet shifter) and a few small items. Then off to the crusher. Not much demand for parts since they hardly ever run!

You better believe if that jag were here on the east coast I would have it being stripped down for the IFS and all the parts Dave said but something tells me if i didnt act fast enough it would be in Daves barn waiting for his next project.
