I'm in New Jersey where they salt like crazy. I upkeep like crazy on my 2004 and all my hardliner etc are perfect. Three years ago I upgraded to Russell braided lines and they have zero signs of rust or corrosion. When I did the lines I did another full flush and adjusted the booster push rod and now my f350 will literally stop on a dim

Above commemts about russell lines, mine fit perfect and i didnt have to cut or alter anything. Fit was OEM compared to some aftermarket stuff ive used in the past on other vehicles

How did you adjust the boost push rod?

-Remove master cylinder
-i paint marker the booster rod
-adjust out booster rod
-remove master cylinder and see of paint has rubbed off on
-keep doing this till the paint transfers onto the master cylinder then turn back in 1/2 turn for some freeplay
-enjoy AMAZING brakes

Can you buy that fitting ? What hose kit did you go with ?

Let me get this straight on the booster rod adjustment. Are you painting the end of the rod then putting the master cylinder on then taking it off to see if paint has transferred? How many turns out should you do and I'm assuming out is counterclockwise?

I don't think you can buy them. Brake lines aren't meant to be rigged up so I doubt you can get them. You can probably get a hydraulic fitting but I'm not sure if it will be rated for the strength and corrosiveness of brake fluid.

I went with Crown custom hoses from KLM Performance. Hoses needed modification, didn't fit well, took way too long, and overall don't seem well made. Steer clear of Crown...

You probably just quality need new brake hoses. Braided look nice but unless you're racing, you're probably just paying for cosmetics.

They are stronger against tearing. The rubber hoses have crimped ends. Hanging a caliper from a rubber hose can mess up a crimp. The stainless hoses have the steel braid attached to the fittings through compression.

Ordered a cheaper set from Skyjacker (which they insisted were the correct set for my truck...nope). Spent about 25 minutes on the phone with those jokers and they kept transferring me all over the place. Sent them back and ordered the set from PMF Suspension and they will be here in about a week. should have done this in the first place and I would have had the truck fixed by now. Lessons learned...buy once, cry once ;-)
