1974 2wd V8 360 stalls after driving
Hello,
MY truck starts and drives fine for 10 or so minutes then starts to sputter and turns off and dies. I can restart a couple minutes later then dies again 100 meters down and thereafter repeatedly does this. I leave it for a while and it will start up and drive no problem then happen again
Could this be a fuel issue, maybe the carb filter or a distributor condenser overheating?
How do I check
Fuel pump with filter in it has been changed.
Help please.

Prolly got sediment in the fuel tank plugging up the intake. Then when all is calm, the sediment falls off and sinks to the bottom. As soon as the truck gets jostled again, the cycle repeats.
Drain, flush, and refill the fuel tank.
Blow out the fuel lines.
Temporarily install see-through inline filters to monitor the situation.

I believe '74 was the first year for the DSI and used a coil capacitor.
'74 used the black grommet.....'75 used the green grommet...particular to those year vehicles/engines.
