ESOF No low range after changing shift indicator
My shift indicator switch on the trans siezed up, so a local trans shop replaced it for me. Now I get no low range when I select it. I understand it needs to see the truck in neutral to do this, is there a simple adjustment? THe trans shop is a long way away.

If the truck didn't see neutral or Park, then the starter wouldn't crank - I have this tee-shirt. My woe was caused by a loose connection on the transmission after it was worked on - you may have the same problem. You can make sure all connections are on and snug... you may even want to clean them with electrical contact cleaner while you're under there.
