Ford F650XL Super Duty Module Replacement

I am having a very hard time finding a module to replace my existing in my Ford F650XL Super Duty. I need to replace it because it is sensing a break issue that doesn't exist and activating a constant ringing alarm in the cab when I am driving.

Attached is a photo showing what I need to replace.

Does anyone now how I can locate one? I contacted Module Experts and they told they cannot find one.

Thanks for any help.

Ashton

The reason you cannot locate the module is:

1C3T-14B205-CB is the ID Engineering number .. not the part number.

No part numbers are marked on parts after 1956, just casting & ID Engineering numbers, when applicable.

Dealers use Master Cross Reference Catalogs to cross ID numbers to part numbers, but I don't have one for this new a truck.

You'll have to contact a dealer to get the part number. There's a Ford dealer in White Bear Lake MN that sells parts on the net for dealer cost +10%.

autonationfordwhitebearlake.com also has an online parts catalog, where you may be able to find the part number. It also lists the MSRP & discount prices.

Perhaps I'm a little to the party, but I took the liberty of Google searching that number, and came up with someone who posted a VIN to their truck which happened to be a 2001 F-650.

In OASIS, and then HvBOM, that number 1C3T-14B205-CB cross references to the latest Ford part number which is EC4Z-14B205-BRM, or Motorcraft part number MFM-17-RM.

Hope this helps.

No you're definitely not late. This module has become a needle in a hay stack. I have been talking with a module dealer and originally gave the him the number, EC4Z-14B205-BRM. He told me this was a generic number and he couldn't locate anything for this.

When I sent him the attached picture he said that this was what he needed, but couldn't find anything.

Do you how I can search for this module with these three numbers you have listed here?

I spoke with someone at Ford of white bear lake. He was helpful but was not able provide me with one. He did give a lead to Circuit Board Medics for repair of the Gem Module. I have been preciously told that they generally cannot be repaired though.

I am looking a a resource to locate a scrap yard that has a 2002 Ford F650XL Super Duty, do you know how a good resource for located one in the United States?

With that part number provided (EC4Z-14B205-BRM), he should have been able to check all of Canada and the U.S. for stock. Is this part no stock anywhere?

I don't know if for sure he searched Canada, but he did say it was unavailable. I am going to look into having it re-built but I am skeptical of the success rate of this.

The D2D (Dealer to Dealer-Ford dealer parts locator system) includes the US and Puerto Rico only. It does not include Canada, Mexico and etc.

I looked on the D2D, no one has any. I also looked on PartsVoice.com & rearcounter.com .. the two parts search websites that anyone can access. No one has any.

So if I cannot find or repair this GEM module, what is my next move other than scrapping the truck?

If I can find a GEM module for a similar truck is there anyway to make it work on my 2002 Ford F650XL Super Duty?

Does anyone know of any modifications I can make to my Ford F650 Truck to make it compatible with a similar trucks module? It seems almost impossible to find the exact module for my truck.

Ashton David please help me with same problem.

Ashton, I have a 2003 F650 with the same issue as yours. How did you resolve your problem with part number 1C3T – 14B205 - CB
