Ignition locked up
Hello I have a 1993 Ford F-250 7.3 non turbo when I went to leave today the truck started but the ignition would not go back into the run position it wasn't stuck far enough forward that the starter stayed in gauged when I got home I pulled the ignition switch and it was still running it seems it's something in the steering column to turn it off I had to cut the fuel flow what could this be and how do I fix it thanks.

Sounds like the actuator may have broken. That usually leads to problems starting, but I suppose it could get stuck in the on position too.
