Thanks, I used an Epoxy-Coat kit I got at Lowes:
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Epoxy-Coat-...-fl-oz/3547112
I found a contractor at Denver's recent Home & Garden show last spring who wanted $2200 to 1) diamond-grind the brand new surface off, then 2) apply his product. I figured that's too much.
There's a story behind that coating, I didn't like how it came out the first time and so I sanded it down as much as I was willing and re-coated it once I got some spiked shoes. Don't think you can do the garage in 3 sections, one at a time (think distributing sprinkles) and have it come out looking good in the end.
Gonna be, yeah... I have a Receiver hitch + 4 bolts in the floor, I need to think about how to fab up something that will both work + can ideally be stored in that sears storage thing directly behind it, even if in pieces. I hope to not have to use it a whole helluva lot.

Picked up a CL find air compressor today. Old Craftsman 2HP 20gal model sold as a paint sprayer. I was after the higher SCFM (8.4 as 90psi) for the money than what I saw at the home stores. Only bummer is I need to wait for my move to use it since I need 220v. Might be able to re-wire the motor for 110v but honestly don't have an immediate use just yet. Just jumped on a good deal.
Thought it was a stationary model but it was just missing the wheels and handle

Does anybody remember this contraption from last October?
Something embedded in the concrete onto which I can attach a winch so I can pull **** that can't move on its own for whatever reason up the hill into the garage . I think that might be the next thing that still needs finishing.
This is how it began last fall/winter (in the think-too-much phase):

Since getting the winning bid at a estate auction on 05/07/2018 and making it a mile to my house where
" MJ " ( Majestyk JR ) overheated and needed a tow it's been a endless quest to get him road worthy
With only 94k actual miles, the original owner (RIP) only drove it a few times a month for the last 10yrs
while keeping it registered and the emissions updated
otherwise he's just sat out baking in the desert sun.
Here is what's accomplished to date, next item to be addressed will be the Factory A/C.
Radiator
Coolant By-Pass hose
Upper & Lower radiator hoses
Thermostat & gasket
Heater hoses
Belts
Carburetor rebuild
Fuel pump
Front fuel tank sending unit
Spark plugs
Plug wires
Distributor cap
Starter solenoid
Rotor
PVC valve
Rear main seal
Valve cover gaskets
Repair oil pressure gauge wire
Lube, oil & filter
Turn signal flasher
Motor mounts
Rear axle seals
Rear wheel cylinders
Steering gear box
Rear coil over shocks
Front H.D. shocks
Clutch, brake & emg. foot pads
Window regulators & channels
Re-foam & re-cover seat add saddle blanket cover
Rear-view mirror
Headlight & wiper switch *****
4spd shift ****
Wiper blades
LF & RF corner lamps
LR & RR tail-lamps
Clutch assembly
Transmission re-seal
Transmission mount
Pinion seal
U-joints
Front end alignment
(4) LT235/85-R16 tires
(4) NOS-OEM 16" dog dish hub caps
Last Tuesday, MJ did earn his keep, making two dump runs after the nasty monsoon on Monday
Once it cools down a bit, already have a couple of new buffing pads and a gallon each of compound & Maguires #7

James nice looking Bull Pen.
At first I was thinking "he cant put a lift in there, no head room" then saw the 2nd picture.
When you pour the floor make sure you go thick enough to support the lift. I hear the concrete has to be so many inches thick to support them.
Now you could get a 4 corner lift with wheels and that may not be that big an issue?
You have that much land to have a tractor that size to cut the grass? What size is the deck on the rear?
Sometimes I wished I had one that size. It takes me 3 hours on my John Deere garden tractor with 60" deck.
People tell me get a zero turn it will be faster. I cant see how if most of the mowing is straight runs like in a field.
Besides zero turns cant pull a plow for the garden or push a plow for snow, used mostly for dirt.
I think it's got it's eye on the tractor LOL
Congrats on the new place.

What is the square footage of your garage? I just had a 400sf 2-car suburban garage floor poured last November with the same stuff you've got, and it cost me ~$3500 IIRC. I didn't put in a lift, but had them add the provisions for a receiver hitch + hold-down bolts in the floor.
You might talk with the contractors about having studs drilled & embedded into the foundation beneath the floor, this is supposed to keep the floor stable & relatively crack-free over its life.

Spiders!
Bump to a dormant thread:
Been having lots of trouble with spiders in my garage. Kept finding webs everywhere, enough to drive ya crazy. I know spiders are beneficial and take care of other insects, but my garage felt like the Adams Family mansion.
I didn't want to spray any poison out there. I just wanted to convince the spiders to take up residence elsewhere. Did a little research and found two things that really helped:
1) Noise: Spiders need quiet to tell when prey is caught in their web. Supposedly related to picking up vibrations from the web. I leave a radio playing all the time now.
2) Citrus: Several sources mentioned spiders do not like the scent of citrus. I picked up some cheap store brand lemon juice. I mixed it 50/50 with water in a spray bott!e. About once a week I spritz a little Spider-B-Gone around the garage, mainly in the hidden spaces.
Between these two easy tricks, I'd say the web building has decreased about 90%.

I'll add, I have had great luck, keep mouse's away using this. I put a new block by the hatchway in the basement a few days ago, just noticed the block is moved and no long looking new. The blocks in the sheds get lots of use. Years ago, we heard noise in the wall in our bedroom. I put one block in the container supplied, by the downspout outside by the corner where the bedroom is, and tossed a couple of blocks up in the attic. Have not heard a noise in the wall since.
I even keep a block under the seat in my old truck, I don't drive it much.
