Great looking truck. Those license plates look new, Did you restore them? I like to know how you are mounting your registration sticker, Did you make a backing plate for the plate and sticker?

Yes, I restored them. I had them powder coated white then painted the lettering.
I have the sticker on a tab on the upper left corner. It is just a rectangular piece of aluminum bolted to the tag. The guy that sells the tags here in Phoenix makes them.
I am concerned someone may unbolt it and take the tag, but I decided to have more faith in humanity.....

WOW!
I only hope mine is half that nice when it's done. Very well done and those "extras" you mentioned are, in my opinion, not outside the realm of stock but rather necessary in order to safely drive the truck in today's world. I'm doing the same "upgrades" to mine and still feel it is and will be stock. I call them upgrades in the name of safety. I want to drive my truck but if it was strictly for shows and such then i suppose those things could be left off the truck. To each their own regardless.

Great truck, enjoy driving it and showing it off.

Well, technically the second visor was an option as was the wiper so adding it on would never really be proven!

That is absolutely stunning. Please drive the wheels off of it for us, and take pictures while you are doing it.

You guys and your dome lights. You should embrace getting into a truck that is pitch black inside. The leap from a dome light to chopped, channeled with a coyote in it is very small.

Joe I did that (stumbling around a dark cab) from 1977 to 1999. Many times when it was my daily driver or my second car, especially my younger years, I wish I'd had one. I put one in when I redid my truck in 1999 and since it was an option it's not really a darkside thing..... But I now have buyers remorse. I rarely use it and wish I hadn't put it in. Ha-ha. Sooooo, if I ever put in a new headliner, out it comes!

Thanks Dan for identifying your tires. They really look good--Just the period correct look I would like for my truck. I did discover, however, that the correct "look" comes at a premium price.

Love It. no chrome bumper,or oak bed,or pleats in seats,or funny wheels,or chrome grill, or small block anything, or chrome window trim, no alternator or 12 v. Also like hood which does not fit (none did) , tailgate latches are good, correct upper rad hoses, heater that works, actual spare tire, correct seat frame and upholstery, cowl vent works, etc etc. Take a "slow ride" and enjoy!!

You can get them besides buying from Coker. I bought mine locally for about $100 each. They have the pie cut edge on them. Check around your locale.
