Otherwise, most the parts that make up a Styleside Custom Cab were the same as a Flareside.

I own a 1966 Mercury 100 Ranger Flareside. The Ranger package means factory carpet which goes all the way up to the top of the gas tank. Optional on these trucks are bucket seats ( from a mustang) and a console ( from a Falcon Sprint). My truck has the seats but not the console. In order to get the Ranger package you have to have a custom cab. There is no evidence that my truck ever had exterior trim other than the written custom cab script on the doors.
