My Ford Magazine

Wow, I just got my first issue of My Ford Magazine and my first impression is that I would rather have gotten a check for whatever it cost them to send it.

I usually toss them. A bunch of feel good articles about being "green" and other politically correct stuff. Just think, Ford has people on a payroll to write and produce it. We paid for that when we bought our trucks.

Cars and trucks last longer, service intervals are further apart. The magazine is a way for Ford to stay in your life on a monthly basis. It's worth it to them for you to see the blue oval on it's way to the recycling bin. No different than any other company spending money in any other marketing event. How many facebook ads do you scroll past? They cost money too. Why waste your breath saying you'd rather have a check?

I gave an explanation. But if it keeps my green F250 in your thoughts then I guess you're right (-=

I'm a letter carrier for the USPS. GM sends out the same crap. But hey, it works. It keeps their name in your house.

I agree. Or how about a free oil change or two or three??

I understand the reasoning, but it is just killing trees...and that is NOT NOT green. The facebook ad's and GOOGLE ad's don't directly kill trees.

Virtual = GREEN
