Good afternoon woodchucks. The bell tower climb failed. I need a taller ladder. The church has a 16 foot step ladder but the reach from the top step to the hatch to get into the bell tower was more than I wanted to attempt. Guess I'm getting cautious in my old age - these old bones probably snap more than when I was younger and stupider. Now I'm just old and stupid. Need to get an extension ladder to get to where I want to get to - the tower is 60 feet up and the hatch to get into the tower is about 22 feet up.
Jim, no goats to mow but we are looking for volunteers to mow (or a contractor if you aren't willing to volunteer.). We have a house sitter but she has a full time job so I need someone to mow the 6 acres of lawn and field. You want to volunteer the kids? I'd make a contribution to scouts for you.
To the rest of you, hope it was a good day. Jim and I don't want the wind to blow any of you reprobates into Vermont so make sure you stay out of the wind tonight and fill your pockets with lead if you go out.
