Question in 2013 F150 Spare Tire

Hello All,

I just bought a used 2013 F150 xl without any Spare Tire. This is a bare-bones truck. My question is: Would this truck have had a full-size spare or the smaller temporary spare ?? Thanks for your help.
John D.

Dunrollin is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
My 2013 XLT has a full size spare on a stamped metal wheel.

As far as I know every F-150 came with a full size spare on a steel wheel. Even my Limited had the full size spare tire on the steel wheel. You can most likely just head to a junk yard and get one.

I think it's a safety thing with trucks. The factory spare should be same size/type/rating as the factory tires, but as stated above, will be on a basic non matching wheel.

I've always hated this non matching wheel, cause it makes it difficult to rotate the spare into service, so it just sits in the back and dry rots. I've had several never or little used tires go bad this way.
