Swap meet today at Cal Expo Sacramento Calif. We went their last night to look around & due little early bird shopping. Came upon a small trailer will a hood on it, ask the seller the price, 35.00 my jaw hit the ground. Ask him if he would take 30 & he said yes. End of story, real nice hood. Old hood needs to much work

Score for sure, $35 for a decent hood, man a hot dog and beverage would cost you that at a ball game, congratulations. If I didn't have so many extra bills this month, Id be there. Question how does someone find out what events are going on in there area? I never seem to hear about things until after the fact. (on the news)

The Sacramento Bee has a section on Fridays called "Drive". They usually post notices of upcoming events like car shows, swap meets, and auto related events. You can probably get this info on-line through the Sacbee.com.

There is a swap meet at American River College tomorrow (Sunday) from 5AM to 2PM. If you are interested.

We need to meet for lunch sometime soon.

Thanks for that Dan, I'm sure I can pick up the Bee on the web. I'm wrapped up here for at least a month with Dr's appointments and family obligations, but I would definitely love to meet you all for lunch. I really enjoyed last time with you and Roy. Meeting Victor, and Mark will just be Icing on the air cleaner. Ill pm you when things open up, so we can set a day, that's good for us all. I really, really, REALLY, need a day out in the truck, I'm looking forward to it.

Great swap meet for being at a new location. All swap meet are good, just some better than others. While walking around I found a new edelbrock intake # 2121 for 130.00. Been looking at them on eBay & they float around 208.00. Can't go to American River today, will be in Lodi playing softball in a tournament, was supposed to play yesterday but made the choice swap meet. So far a good week in, found a good hood on friday a new intake on saturday & if we can win a couple on games today that would be great. Turlock swap next week.
