IIRC, dielectric is good for marine rigging as it resists current. Presuming so, might consider a conductive grease for the battery terminals where the goal is to allow current to pass through the grease.

The theory with the dielectric grease is that the current goes through the metal-to-metal connection, and the grease fills the rest of the void space, not allowing any liquid or gasses to enter and corrode.
I use it in this application, and haven't had an issues. I think the fact that you are screwing together two soft metals helps here.

Nope, I don't want conductive grease. I want non conductive to help prevent corrosion. You'll find that smearing dielectric grease on doesn't affect the current as long as you get a solid and tight connection. And it completely prevents corrosion in what I've seen.
