My dad bought a 1987 f-150 new in 87 for 10,500 bucks, and gave it to me when I turned 18. I've had it ever since. Just joined the forum to get some advice about all the work I plan on doing to it over the next couple years, including a possible restoration job.

Approx 215,000 miles
4.9 L Inline 6, EFI
2 wheel drive

No major work done on it. Just replacements of starter, alternator, water pump, radiator, and a few other relatively minor things. Engine runs great, and I want to keep it that way.
