Cover My Hole
Anyone know if the hole in the interior cab sides had a cover at one point?

Only the following trucks came with these cover plates.
1964 F100/250 2WD Custom Cab; 1965/66 F100/250 2WD Custom Cab & Ranger; 1966 F100 4WD Custom Cab.
C4TZ-8102448-A .. Right Cowl Panel Access Hole Cover Plate / Obsolete
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor have any.
--------------------------------------------------------
C4TZ-8102449-A .. Left Cowl Panel Access Cover Plate / Obsolete
OBSOLETE RELIABLE PARTS in Nashville GA has 1 = 229-686-5101.
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 2 = 800-543-4959.

Thanks! Were these standard as the screw holes do not look like a screw was ever inserted?

If your 1966 F100 is a Standard Cab, it didn't come with these covers. My former 1965 F100 Standard Cab didn't come with them either.
Only 1964/66 F100/250 Custom Cabs, 1965/66 F100/250 Rangers have these covers.

Post #2: Obsolete Reliable Parts & Green Sales have the left side, no one has the right side.

I think it looks better with the covers. You can find them online/auction used.

I have a custom cab but I have no idea what that opening is even for. I thought about removing the cover and looking behind it but never did.
