I did the compression test this morning ,not the most impressive numbers but I did discover that 2 of my spark plug wires weren't completely snapped on the plugs which would account for the miss I was hearing. Started it up after and you can definitely hear the valve train clattering....
The compression numbers are way up from the first time I tested and was wondering if the more I run it if it might improve some more, I'm running transmission oil mixed with the engine oil hoping it will clean up any gummed up areas..

Good morning Nebraska
Question of the day: Will Pat behave himself over the week end ? or will he have to go back to "work" on Tuesday to "rest up"????

It does indeed look like a keeper, Randy.
I recently picked up an 89 and a 90 Crown Vics. They've been sitting long enough so that I'm not going to try to start them without dropping the tanks first. Of course one has no engine.....
