water methanol injection on a 6.4

well, its been 4 months since I asked the questions and it looks like this is a new frontier for this site ....so 4 months later...went with a basic AEM kit. cost me about 440.
so far, it does everything claimed and the deeper I dig into this subject the more I realize I should have done this a while ago.

Water injection
Good to hear.
Years ago I added water injection to my old Toyota, and it worked fine. It was a really basic system using a windshield washer pump.
I just used water in it, and could turn it on and off with a small toggle switch. I would head up a local hill at about half throttle and turn the switch on and off - the knocking would also turn on and off. As I expected, there was no noticeable effect on power.

a web site calculator puts my boost and hp at 625 ml but the closest the OEM sizing chart puts me is 514/551/551 which is in the top side of the medium nozzle.
I recently tried the large nozzle and for a small part of the range get more seat of the pants wow than the medium. but for the rest of the range it seems the wow difference between medium and large ends quickly. the numbers seem to support this. so, will probably go back to the medium nozzle.
small is 250, medium is 500 and large is 1000

so I tried the 1000ml nozzle and was not happy with the low rpm atomazation and had quelcthing at about 35lbs of boost. 1000 is 350ml over my interpretation of optimal 650ml for hp/boost level of stock 6.4
was thinking of drilling out an extra nozzle to an inbetween size...but that got messy.
wound up buying this collar on amazon that holds 3 nozzles. im using three 250ml nozzles. great low rpm atomization and no queltching.
the aem comes with a nozzle holder with a builtin 16psi checkvalve.
i moved the injection point from the intake manifold opening to the exit of intercooler. the 3 nozzle collar with all 3 nozzles installed was a best fit there. I also think the sprays will have more time to totally vaporize due to the extra foot of travel.
so far I have been running meth injection (washer fluid) for about 7000 miles now. the 3 250ml nozzles works the best, second would be the 500ml one.
I learned that the aem controller is not tipical....some controllers do prorated injection based on boost....meaning at 25% boost, they inject 25%, at 50% boost, they inject 50%, etc. but no in between.
the aem system has a range of 1 to 40 psi and can inject anywhere in between.
