My Super Duty did not come with remote start. I understand this unit will start my truck from my cell phone. Will the unit wait for the truck to finish the glow plug warm up? Can I program a new Ford key fob, with the start button on it to start the truck from up close?

You will need to have the remote start feature turned on at the dealer (or thru ForScan) in order for any remote start system will work, and yes once you have that turned on you can add the key fob remote start.

I just called Banner and talked to Rob in Ford parts. Rob has no idea who posted this or anything about this. How can I get a hold of the OP for this ad or someone willing to sell one of these alarms?
Post number 9 and 23 had the name Bobby but no Bobby in parts at Banner.
Can it be Bobby in Chevy parts selling these Ford alarms?

Easiest way to tell, hit the lock button twice on your fob. Wait 45 seconds and then bounce on the rear bumper. If alarm goes off you have the vss, if it doesn’t then you will need it.

Just wanted to say Bobby rocks. Pretty sure he overnight or 2 day shipped the parts. I got a tracking from Fedex and next day it was there. LA to NY. Took about an hour to put the parts in. Could have been faster but wasnt easy contorting my old *** body under the dash. Sent Bobby an e-mail and about 30 minutes later the system was set and working. Figured it took 30 min for response because it was around lunch time. All in all, extremely happy with the purchase and service.
