FTE really bogs down my computer. Pages are slow to load and my tower just sounds like it's plowing hard whenever I try to change pages on here. No other site has that effect.

Three bottom plow? Four? Maybe you need to run in a lower gear. BTW, mine seems slow all the time compared to my neighbors....

Yeah, slow here lately too. Loading multiple pictures seems to be the worst

Sometimes clearing out your internet cache works to speed things up. Check the googles for instructions on whichever browser you prefer. I use FireFox with the ad-block and flash stop add-on installed. That cuts down on all ads and what not this site tries to load. It is blocked at my work due to scripts and some other stuff I won't bore you with. Also, releasing and renewing your IP address can help speed things up. Once again, google is your friend.

I did the google search and I've cleaned all I dare, probably got rid of some things I shouldn't have. I run Firefox and ad block but generally do all my surfing on Duck Duck Go. I think FTE has some kind of data miners or something that slows things down and makes it a little jittery when I'm on here.

In the past I had the same problems. I changed browsers to Fire Fox and although not perfct it was a vast improvement.
