(1st off could we make the title box more than 60 characters of text).
Having resprung my E350 to an E450, and now to watch new F-450's & F-550's pull up next to me with those pensil thin front and rear springs. 3 leafs in the rear of a 550, Ford you are out of your mind. There is no spring steel that is that strong to lose weight. Even Germans can't make spring steel that thin with enough strength of rating on the door.

I have to call Ford out on all springs on the F 450, and F 550 series, there is no way you meet the door sticker on a certed scale 8$ to 14k 7 tons. All heavy truck spring weights are designed for a 5 year lifespan, that gets Ford past warranty/financing, and used truck buyers already in the ditch with load.
I call out the Ford engineer to bring his "Sharpie" and sign off on this design, I want to see you put your name on the product the public is paying for.
7 tons for 5 years of financing, I don't trust your spring math, to make my business run.
Don't take my word for it, cert the scales to the door sticker.
