9.75" 3.73 rear axle rebuild
has anyone had any success rebuilding there rear diff?
i will be doing everything ideally all bearings axle shafts if there heat damaged new gears replace the clutch packs and crush sleeve
my bearings are going on my pinion shaft causing my reared backlash or slop in the ring and pinion to become excessive
anyone have any insight in to this before i tear it down would be sweet

Unless you want a new hobby, have someone experienced in setting up this axle do the job. There are threads with DIY axle set up, and some of those come back complaining about a whine.
Differential set up is in the 8 to 9 range on a scale of 10 for automotive repair.
Especially an integral axle where you are going to be doing this on the ground (probably) or having to take the whole housing out of the truck.
Call me silly.
