I6/4.9 Fuel Rail & Lines from '95 into a '91

Anyone have any idea how readily swap-able the fuel-rail and lines back to the filter might be from a '95 into my '91? The regulator is 2-bolt instead of 3 so that would need to come along, but no big concern there (it's NOT return-less).

My stuff is tired and rusty. The later stuff, even from a junkyard truck, looks more long-lasting.

Yes I believe that will work, there are intermediate lines between the fuel rail and the chassis lines that will have to come with it but sounds like you are already planning to pull those so you should be good.

Okay, thanks Paul. I will report back when/if I get it done.

Done. I only needed to replace the rail - plugged right into the existing hard-line fittings on the intermediate lines at the back of the head.

As you can see, I also removed the air-pump manifold (A.I.R. rail) and fittings, plugging with 9/16-18 bolts. I followed the advise of using 2.5" length bolts, but it seems you could easily go with 1.5" length and still not have any valve cover removal conflict. But these will do.

Edit - I've bumped another thread on the bolt length. Best to continue that discussion there.
