Hi this is my first post on here because I just bought a 78' F150 Ranger XLT and when the headlights are on the front blinkers don't blink. The rear works just fine and the dash shows them flashing. Any help would be appreciated
Now, a couple of basic trouble shooting questions for you.
How are the grounds for the turn signal / running lights?
Have you checked them? cleaned them?
( located on radiator core support under rubber flaps )
How about your bulbs? are they new or old?
Have you tried cleaning the sockets for them?
Thank you for the quick response I took a look at the grounds today and one of them is rusted up pretty good. I also noticed today that the hazards just stay on and do not blink. Not sure if this adds any information. I will post again after getting the bulb sockets and that ground inspected and cleaned. Too rainy for me to be out working today
Glad to know ya got 'er fixed with just the basics.
I would recommend that you follow suit and do the rest of the grounds as preventative maintenance,
better to be safe than sorry........
