Took a little longer than 10 minutes, maybe a half hour. Used the passenger side license plate light harness for power and ground. Large hands and a small space but the plug comes off easy and drops slightly below the bumper to allow access for the posi-taps. I added my extra wires to each tap prior to making the connection just outside the license plate light plug. Added an extra foot of wire for the hot and ground side. Trimmed the extension wire, once I got the light mounted and could determine the final length required. I added the posi-connectors to the green wires on the light harness prior to mounting the light. The hole in the truck box is very large. Had to make the two final connections between the light harness and my extension wires from the license plate light just behind the spare tire. No need to take the spare down. Added a few zip ties so it looks nice and clean.
I love the way it looks and that it's a factory part. I think it's hilarious too that Rodney is spending my money again and not from his main thread. Thanks Bud!

I thought I would resurrect this for the SRW guys looking to replace their blank with a Ford OEM light bar.
I’m into a stock look, and not red necking things up with tacky stick on..do everything LED strips.
Clean, subtle and it looks great!
I used the license plate Led wires as a power source.

For the new guys that find this due to George's bump an FYI... Rick, the manager at trunkmonkey.com has been gone for quite a while and the new guys aren't interested in selling these or doing the Weigh Safe deal anymore. So, Tasca is likely your best bet using the part numbers listed above.

Boat isn't too shabby either eh Bruce? I bought a Regal 2300 new back in 2010 and always said that a Cobalt would be my next one when I was ready for something different. They are beautiful machines. But much like the recent sale of the XLR, when I'm done with something... I'm done... Every once in a while I do get inspired after a whisky night cap and start doing a little build and price online but luckily, tired hits me before I do anything crazy... LOL
