What type of fan system is more quiet? A attic fan vertically installed in my wall or those electric temperature thermostat attic vent fans? Or any other options to move air, but not bet the farm etc... I get on some sites and see people all talking big seer ac units...wtf people...yeah in a perfect world....and a ton of cash. I'm looking for real country solutions not dreams lol

I like an old a/c squirrel cage box fan, the air moving it louder than the unit itself. I can talk to the son in law (who is an a/c guy) and see if you can get you a deal on some old ones?

I have one of those here at the house, just took it out of an apartment. I don't know if it works though.
It'll be here til I get enough metal to make a scrap run.

I've got another one of those squirrel cages now. They'll be going to the scrap yard on Monday unless I hear different.

Them furnace squirrel cages are great, low amperage and high airflow.

I may be getting more soon. The land lord is talking about replacing more units, he has 23 more apartments that he talking about replacing the units in.
So until he actually does it, it's basically just talk for now.
I'll keep you posted if things progress.

Jeff I have to be in Spg sat afternoon (4 to 5 PM) to pick up Penny. Want me to stop by your place a little earlier for some shop ideas?

Kickapoo plays football that night, so I'll be out of town. Thank you for the thought though

I have a fan sitting here for you.
I'm guessing these fans are 220 volt, since it has 3 wires.

I saw one working at the tire shop on South Street in Ozark, that one worked real well. Looking forward to seeing what it can do
