Disc Brakes - what are running?

I have a 65 f100 that I want to put disc brakes on and wondered who's done the conversion and what did you end up installing?

'73-'79 F100 or '75-'79 F150 front disc suspensions are all compatible on '65-'72 F100s.

Entire disc brake front suspension from a '77 F100 I installed on my '69 F100.

You'll also need the frame brackets on each side where the hard line meets the flexible brake hose going to the front caliper.

If you wanted to run a '75-'79 F100 - F350 1-1/8" front swaybar, you would need to get the front suspension from a '75-'79 F100/F150. The radius arms will be factory notched at the forward end of the radius arms to receive the locating pin on the swaybar endlink brackets. '73/'74 radius arms will not have the notches in them.

1978 F250 Camper Special front swaybar on my '69 F100.

To get the maximum potential out of the front discs, a brake booster would be a good idea. '75 F350 dual diaphragm booster/firewall brackets with a new '95 Ford Explorer 1-1/8" bore MC. My disc/drum brake valve is an NOS item that's for an '84-'86 F150/Bronco.

Had 66 F100 352 3 spd, dropped the complete front axle, steering gear set, bought a 76 F100 360 C6, pulled it along side of the 66 dropped the set, slid it over and bolted it up in the 66, best way to go, as you have all the parts for the upgrade right there.

My truck has the front end of a 73 F100 swapped in along with the 73 disc brakes.
