Been Working On My Truck - SD rear axle - E-fuel - Etc

Hey guys, happy easter! thought I'd post up some pics. Been working on my '97 a lot lately... Did a 2000 Super Duty rear end swap along with Detroit locker. Still planning on doing hydroboost but good results so far.

Did the driven diesel E-fuel setup, very nice kit.

Going to pull the trans out soon and have it rebuilt along with a super duty transfer case swap. Then it's HPOP and injector time!

Nice! I like the steps. If I don't end up going with amp research, I'll get that style. Clean!

Nice work dude.

Do you use that oven for powercoating or preheating stuff before you weld it?

Love that disk brake axle! Do a write up on hydroboost, I have always thought about it but never did anything. With that axle and hydroboost you should have good brakes!

Thanks guys.

Kingkong, yeah I powdercoat small parts and I also heat up parts when I paint them, like brake rotors etc.. I can fit a 17" rim in the free oven.

What should I do about the CCV? What's the current consensus, vent to atmosphere now?

Wow that's a really clean looking truck! Super nice.

Snowing on Easter though? It was like 95 today here in AZ!

It looks like your ebpv pedestal was leaking! Are you replacing that with a non-ebpv pedestal or just took it out to do the e-fuel?

Did they make CCSB from factory in this body style? I haven't seen one yet. Regardless, that truck is badass.

I just realized I meant an F350 CCSB. I haven't heard of or seen one that wasn't mentioned as being custom made after the factory. I know there are plenty of F250 CCSB all over the place.

Nice truck, so do you have a super duty axle in the front too? Or run two different bolt pattern rims?

haha thanks guys. Yeah I wanted a plain white one but this red has grown on me. Ive had a lot of this body style trucks and they are all white hah.

That pic was from last month or so. Just had some time to post it up. Yes, I did the deleted pedistal. That's just my leftover junk parts pile.

I had a 95 F350 that I built the truck with and I swapped out the side badges. Only us guru's know the difference.

I had the super duty hubs machined for 8x6.5" BP to match the front. I would have done super duty axles front and back if I knew I was going this far but I had already bought rims, parts truck, etc for the 350 swap right when I got the truck.

Overkill but I wanted some shiney stuff.

Trans rebuild. Super duty NP271 transfer case swap.

Transgo shift kit, new worked valve body, 1100ft lb rated torque converter. I know it's no BTS but if this auto doesn't hold up then I'm ZF-6 swapping this truck.

Powdercoated matte black

The mirror heads I had vinyl wrapped in matte black to match since I couldn't powercoat them.

Gonna have my windshield trim done when I get new glass.
