I wonder how many people think they have a '53 or '55 because somewhere along the line someone switched out the 'ugly' '54 grill? (Not everybody looks up VINs and #'s) When I bought my '54, the owner was right in the middle of doing just that. I still have the '55 valence on it.

But, first thing I did when I started working on it was putting the old '54 grill back on. I LIKE them fangs!

I'm getting jealous of you guys that have several.
We might need to block Stan from voting on this poll. I think he said he as a dozen or so of this era. That might screw the numbers a bit.

The 1948-1952's with the wide fenders curving in to the Corvette small cab interior are hard to beat. Damn sexy. My 1949 is a Mercury M-47. (Chicks LOVE a Mercury...I swear to God they do!)

I have 3- 56"s,,,,,,,,,

A 56 F-100 that I bought in 71, my pride and joy, very bright red, 427dual quad, 4speed top loader, 9" Detroit locker, mid length traction bars, anti-sway bar on the front axle. full length 3" full length hand built stainless exhaust hand-built SST mufflers. Truck looks bone stock except the wheels and tires suggest don`t mess with it. You know it's not stock when I fire it up. Its mellow at idle but gets louder when nailed. 2- 56 Coes, both are complete cab and chassis one runs.
