Recently I came across a Grille Ornament from a Ranger. Can't quite make the engineering number out (looks like C8TB-8216A.) but it does not resemble the part number, C8TZ-8259-A. Did Ford make a grille ornament for another vehicle that was similar?

Can anyone shed any light here?

 

The only grille ornament offered for Bumpsides:

C8TZ-8259-A .. Ranger Grille Ornament / Reproduced

1968/69 F100/350 Ranger.

 

I don't have any cross reference slides old enough for that number to show up. Post a pic of it and maybe someone will recognize it.

 

 

That is the surround 1/2 of the Bumpside "Ranger" grille emblem. DC carries the Ranger insert that fits in it. Part number C8TZ8213A.

Thanks. I thought the engineering number stamped on the item was at least interesting because no one has ever commented on same (at least I could not find any posts on the internet regarding the engineering number).
