My front bumper has 2 round holes with flat plastic inserts. I see Amazon has a bracket to contour the bumper. Are the plastic inserts used to mount the bracket or are they just plugs because no bracket? I'd like to put a plate on the front.
When you say flat plastic inserts, are they like Christmas tree push ins or do they have a hole in the center for attaching something? Most front license plate brackets end up being pop riveted to the steel bumper with the plate bolted to the bracket.
Thanks for the reply. Looking at them closer I see they are metal, like I would call pot metal. The hole is 5/32 and this little tube is flared out on the back side of the bumper, split 3 ways. The one on the right has part of the plastic that hung on these. Looks like these were pressed when it mounted a bracket at one time. The holes in the bumper it's self are also round. I would expect it to be square to hold a plastic insert to catch a screw. I was trying to share a picture but I don't see how. Thanks again.
