That doesn't look right.... Hopefully someone will post what they should look like. Also measure how far back from the cat they are for comparison purposes.

Did my pictures work?
Basically the shop said they will add new bungs for the O2 sensors because the threads become screwed up.
I noticed b1s2 was reading really weird but wasn't sure if I had it set up right in the app.
Looks like he welded it back on ? Threads should not get screwed up as long as they use anti-seize on the thread.

It looks like extensions welded on to me. I'll try to remember to take pictures of mine this afternoon.

I'm guessing the spark plugs have never been changed or were changed way to late, and the rich mixture from some misfires has started clogging the cat. I recommend at least checking the plugs.

I don't know a lot about the scanner your using, but can it read misfires while driving?

They are not behind the cats they are basically in the center of them. I plan on doing plugs. With how bad the air filter was I'm sure they haven't been done. Just waiting for when I have time to dive in to the project. I about shat myself when I seen it had 16 plugs!

Speaking of plugs, Which plugs should i get? A local shop quoted 10 bucks a pop for the plugs.

I have had the hardest time looking anything up on the 6.2 it seams there are almost no discussions on it anywhere I look!

Use factory replacement motorcrafts. No where near $10 a plug. You realize there is a dedicated 6.2 section on here? It's located in the performance, engine and trouble shooting section. There is a thread or two in there just about changing plugs. Also threads on cats and the same codes you have.

Ok, I stand corrected. For some reason I thought you had the 5.4 or 6.8
How many miles on the truck?
I see so many people change plugs when it's really not needed yet.

His first post stated 128k. It's recommended at 100k. We have seen multiple times were people where having plugs misfire at more like 70k. We have also seen numerous bad cats from 70-120k. I can promise you I will be changing my plugs well before 100k. It's a lot cheaper than changing a cat.
