I Need Some Quick Help...It's for a Friend...Really lol

Hey guys, I've never posted in the Super Duty section, but I am now because I need some help completing an install of a 6" Rough Country lift on a buddy's 2015 F250.

My friend bought the lift for his truck and I agreed to help with install. We got the majority of the front done, but the truck is still on the lift, and we are going to button up the rest tomorrow. So far everything has gone in about as smoothly as can be expected...with the exception of the pitman arm being an absolute bear to get off (it is fwiw).

Where we sit now is needing to make sure that everything is torqued to spec.

Can someone please chime in with a somewhat complete list of torque specs for the front end? Or perhaps any issues, or knowledge of this kit?

Thank you for any and all info you guys can provide.

Remember do final torquing after putting the vehicle on the ground and driving it forward and back 20 or so feet. this is for any bolt going through a joint.

Will do Richard, and thanks for the reply.

The problem is that the kit says things like "torque to factory spec", but on nonfactory parts. Like the drop 4 link bracket for instance, which it said do not tighten yet. I knew not to tighten the 4 links until it was loaded...but thought the bracket should have been tightened on the lift??? Also, some of the torque values I'm seeing online are all over the place, and quite frankly seem wrong. I'm seeing that the track bar gets torqued to 400+ftlbs...but I buzzed it off with my Craftsman battery powered impact gun...it does 150 on a good day. 350 on the pitman I can believe though.

400 on the trac bar is correct! Leave it loose and you will have issues.

Thanks guys.

We got the kit on yesterday with only a couple of issues. We were able to get a 3/4 torque wrench capable of the 400ftlbs, so that's gtg.

One issue though is that the upper driver's side link (which had the welded on nut near the diff., appears to be impossible to torque down. Does the shock have to be removed to get at it? Tips?
