1952 F1 hood question

I bought a 1952 F1 this morning, seemed like a pretty solid rust free frame, glovebox vin plate match to frame stamp. I think it's a 52, the first characters are F1R2.

Typical fender stuff will need to be addressed and it comes with a new bed and tailgate, and a mint 51 cab.

Even though its badged as a 52, I think it has a 51 hood, as it does not have letters, but instead has the V8 emblem. Is everything else the same about the hood, catch, etc?

Three holes in the leading edge of the hood is indicative of a '51 hood.
