Before throwing all those parts at it (or since, for that matter), what have you TESTED?

you replaced the CPS but how bout going back and looking at the connector really good. I hope u used a motorcraft cps and not cheap one.

I remember reading sometime back that if the ecm does not sense CPS run signal in several seconds, that it will cut off. I think it would run 10 seconds or so.

I didn't think it would ever start or run without a constant signal from the CPS. Maybe I was wrong.

How long does it crank to get it started again? Check oil on crankcase as well as HPOP...wait, that's already been said.

It must not be too big an issue since he has not been back. U are correct, it does need CPS signal to crank. I was thinking possible noise once running in signal. I also see hpop reservoir route as being viable.

The reason i suggested it was I had read it and also experienced at a show recently. Truck would crank good, run for less than 15 seconds and quit. It would do it over and over. The cap had been leaking that covers hpop gear nut. It had oiled the cps connector pretty good. We cleaned it really good with brake clean it started running fine.

Does it start right back up or do you need to wait awhile?

Check your IPR pigtail for chaffing or corrosion. Look down inside the back of the pigtail and make sure the wires aren't touching. Ask me how I know this LOL

if you replaced ICP, you might have introduced air in system

That can take time to get out

Double check your oil level

Try starting up and running at 1k RPM and see if it will hold at that RPM

ohm out the harness for injectors since you were in there from the IDM connector
