Hey guys,

My power stroke was running great but didn't start up after I turned it off. I changed the fuel filter and I changed the starter. I got her running again but it was showing low pressure on the gauge and when you push the gas pedal it drops. Any ideas?

 

Um, which gauge?

 

is this a diesel or a gasser?

check your oil level


if it is ok then maybe you gauge sensor is broken or wire is loose when you press on accelerator pedal


might want to get a real gauge installed to rule out the sensor

 

Thanks for helping me out I will look into it. I don't think it's s major issues because there is no knocking sounds, lights or heating issues

 

this type of engine when it runs out of oil will loose injector pressure before bearing damage will happen, unless you are coasting down a long hill with no oil in it

 

How old is the oil?
