My 2000 Navi (parts car) has been idle for about a year. Decided to run it, but engine only cranks.
Noticed that when the key is turned to run, you can't hear the fuel pump prime.
Fuse is good, swapped relays, checked inertia switch.
Haven't done much else. Was running fine.
Any "quick" suggestions from experience?
I was hoping to drive it into the garage to pull its engine/trans. I'm not putting a fuel pump in it.
Someone posted that there's a valet button to override the theft system, I was unable to locate it if it exists.
Did you get a spray can of Ether (starting fluid) from the auto parts store or Walmart and spray some into the throttle body intake and try and start it ? If it's been sitting a year that'll get it at least started. There's plenty of fuel in the tank ?
