No power windows, Horn, Dome lights, 4x4, and more
Sorry if this has been covered but i could not find any info. The other day i was driving my truck down the driveway and the throttle stuck wide open. Before my brain had time to react i went thru two cattle gates, two 6 inch trees, and about nine fence posts. So at this point I am trying to repair the truck and put it back together. But I am having some electrical issues. The windows will not roll up. I have no horn. The dome lights will not turn on when the doors are opened. The four wheel drive does not engage with the switch. The gearshift will not come out of park when the brake is depressed. When you do hit the brake pedal the voltmeter on the gauge cluster drops all the way out. Is this GEM module related or maybe a blown fuse that I am over looking? Any help is appreciated because this was my DD and now I am having to resort in driving my little farm truck which has seen better days. Truck is a 2000 f350

Thanks for replying. There is a lot of damage but 95% of it is cosmetic. And these for the most part all have to be related in some way. Now they may not all be but most of them will have a common denominator. I have a lot of electrical and mechanical experience not trying to boast but i can figure this out. Just was looking for some advice on which direction to start in and maybe some wiring diagrams as all this worked before the incident.

if the above does not apply, examine the linkage begining at the transmission working your way up into the dash...look for signs of breakage...bending...etc.
if the above do not apply, check the brake pedal area for a loose wire on the switch which attaches to the break pedal...if the wire is broken, the vehicle will not shift out of park becuase FORD rigged this up to prevent starting with out the foot on the brake...even in park.
