Yes, if it was a truck with a 4.9L, 5.0L, 5.8L or 7.5L in 1995 they all took the same Black ICM.
Also the Class A F53 460 RV also took the same Black ICM one.
And the 1995 Mustang with a 5.0L engine used the same one.
I'm wondering... how does the calibration code relate to a distributor?
I was just saying that the Distributors Ford part number for his truck shows up in the Calibration Parts list.
Most likely all of the distributors for the 1995 5.8L Trucks take the same distributor.
Note that the F1TZ-12127-C distributor has a 1991 truck part number.
If you replace a distributor make sure it is a NEW one and not a rebuilt or re manufactured distributor as ones that are not new more than likely have a bad PIP sensor in them mounted on the Stator.
I have no idea anymore but if you post your calibration code I will post your part list.
At one time you could go to the Ford site but that is not available anymore. The were also found on the microfiche slides at the Ford dealers at one time.
At one time Ford dealer parts departments would ask for your calibration code before selling parts. I do not know if they still do that or not.
I'm tracking a PIP 211 code. This will help. Thank you!
More than likely you have a bad PIP sensor.
You either need to replace the stator in the distributor or replace the distributor with a NEW distributor (not rebuilt or re manufactured).
Done. New Spectra model from Rock Auto. And new ICM (black), fender mount. Still getting the code. I've ordered the Haynes manual recommended by Steve83 on another forum so I can run through the complete ignition diagnostics procedure. Unless there really is a misfire somewhere (even though the Innova scanner cylinder balance test said they are all running equally well), the computer is really the only part left. I guess we'll see.
