ok, done. How to I determine build date based on the window sticker? or can I?


here it is

 

OK, in the lower Grey section in the box under where it says "SPECIAL ORDER" the last part of that is the date (3/28/17) that is went from "In Order Processing" to the status of "In Production". Normally the truck is built 8 days (some guys got in just before midnight and got a build date 7 days) after the date on the Window sticker. So yours should be built today...

 

I hoping mine went down the line today and ships tomorrow. I ran most the VIN's for the superdutys at my dealership and they all shipped the same day as the production day. I saw some hit in transit and deliver to dealer ship 7 days from leaving the factory...

 

That's exciting! So most likely 3 or so weeks before it shows up here?

 

No Luck using Cotus.
Checked etis and it shows the date of 4/4/17
Dealer also said delivery about the 17th.

Nice! i've been refreshing COTUS & ETIS all day....

 

Me too! i've mentally given up on COTUS, but I still keep checking just in case. ETIS will be the telltale when that build date changes to a real date.

 

Where is the Ford chat? Had my window sticker on March 29 and there still isn't a build date in ETIS and according to COTUS my truck's vin doesn't even exist. My dealer told me on Wednesday that they still did not have a build date assigned to it by Ford. It is a fully optioned out king ranch with priority 10

3/1 I ordered at the dealer
3/6 received VIN
3/21 sticker generated
3/22 received sticker
3/29 built according to ETIS
4/10 ETA to dealer

No help from COTUS.
Dealer informed me it is sitting in lot waiting for spray in liner.

Side note: Another dealer ordered the exact build 3/3, at the time of me pricing. He said he had allocation available. I didn't want to order yet. It is setting in his lot.

Everyone's order is special, but mine is a loaded platty with a long bed. Now there's two in town. LOL

 

The placeholder date finally turned into a real date.


Still nothing in COTUS but at least there is a physical object of my desire now.

My window sticker date is 3/28. If yours says that it was probably built yesterday as well.

 

if the date in the bottom grey section of the window sticker is 3/29 your truck will be built tomorrow, etis then takes 24 hours ro show the build date, remember etis is a European site, ans not real time data. It dies a niggtly sync with Ford.

 

Worked but says it's for US customers only and unfortunately I'm in Canada

 

My date in grey was the 28th, the window sticker was only visible online on the 29th. I just checked ETIS again and it shows my truck was built yesterday, now it's going to be a real killer waiting for it to get to the dealer and I can't even track the shipping status through COTUS
