The Price of Bronco's Lately

I've looked on Ebay at the price of Bronco's. They are sky high. What's going on with the price of Bronco's lately? Has anyone else noticed this? Is it the price of gas has gone down and stabilized that has made these gas guzzlers more popular?

No I haven't seen that. Not sure I want a new bronco yet. Haven't broken the old one enough yet.

Too many people want 4-5k for ragged out junk, you should be able to get a pretty low mile bronco in good shspe with minimal rust and minor imperfections with a clean interior for around 6k

ive been looking too. Some of the better ones are going for $12 to $15k. I have one here in town at a used car dealer that is a '96 Eddie Bower edition in great shape for almost $15k.
It looks great, but $15k is steep.

I paid $4000.00 for my 95. Some people think theirs is worth a ton more than they really are but that's because some clown paid that.

It's like my oldest tried to tell mea standard box fan was worth twice what a new one was because it came from a school or the torn up school desk was an antique.

Yeah I've noticed on Craigslist that the price has gone up pretty steep. I've seen a lot of reasonable deals recently however, but within the past year, lots of people are asking too much for what they are selling.

I love these trucks, but 8k + for a close to 200k or higher mileage 20 to 30 year old truck is a lot of money, especially if it's not in near perfect condition.

It's the same way with fox body mustang around here too. In 1998 I bought a 1993 5.0 with 75k miles for $4,200. Now I'm seeing ones in that same condition going for $15,000. Broncos were relatively rare to start with and with most biting the dust due to off roading or rusting out they are getting harder to find and i expect the price to keep going up on them.

I'm feeling blessed. I bought my Bronco 4 or 5 years ago for $2000. 158,000 miles on it. But gas prices were higher then.

Seems like a lot of prices are up. I'm surprised at the ones that are reasonably priced and the only things wrong are front driveshaft missing, tranny won't go into reverse and a blown head gasket! Easy fix and parts are only $29.99!

Those deals kinda scare me now days as people will tell you the obvious. Kid comes driving in with a truck says he's got a blown head gasket. Asked him long he'd driven it like that and he says a month. Pulled the head and looked like someone had laid a torch across between the cylinders about 1/4" deep.

I just bought one on the 28th for $16,500. I've been looking for awhile and the prices were either $2k or $20k. You might have just laughed so hard you spit your morning coffee on your computer screen but I freaking love it. Its a 1993 EB with 76,000 miles on it. The interior is absolutely perfect. Literally. It has the 5.0 (yes of course I wanted the 5.8 but....) 4" lift, new ball joints, tie rod ends, shocks, steering stabilizer and 33"BFGs.

So back to the point, these are unique, amazing vehicles that aren't made anymore. I think the one I picked up is worth every penny.

I flew to Memphis from Columbus, Ohio and drove it back same day. I was a little scared of issues on the way back but it ran out great. Its gonna look great next to my 1975 F-250.

That one looks brand new. I could justify paying that much for one that looks that good.
