Lake Orion, MI--AE Request

Hey guys,

Having a heck of a time getting my truck to stay running. Truck has been flawless up until recently. Dies randomly when coming to a stop.

Replaced:
-CPS
-ICP
-IPR

Checked:
-Fuel pressure to the bowl
-Chaffing on suspect wires
-Engine oil level
-Suspect blown fuses

Miscellaneous:
-Fuel filter is replaced regularly every 6,000 miles
-Right or Wrong--- I wanted to perform a simple test verifying fuel to the engine. She will burn rubber and roll coal (when the tuner is turned up) like a champ.
-UVCH's are relatively new, replaced two years ago

I really need to verify with an AE analyzer and look at the IPR duty cycle, RPM, ICP pressure, throttle position voltage and ICP feedback voltage while driving and duplicate the conditions.

I already checked the B.E.S.T. map and only found one individual that claims to live in Detroit. If there is anyone around the Lake Orion, MI area with AE that is willing to help, it would be so greatly appreciated.

**Truck info in signature**

-Kyle

Guitarpicr,

No, it is a Duralast from Autozone. I will get one from Ford and see if that resolves it.

Thank you for the input.

Your 3 hrs out from me but I'll ship my forescan and laptop.

Denny (I would eyeball that CPS and check your pig on the ICP to see if it's dry)

DieselDenny:
Thank you for the offer. I may look into the FORScan since it is free (I was unaware of this)

Tugly:
Thank you! I did not know a "free" software was available.

I'll post up when I figure this out.

TheBigBee,

Awesome bud. Thank you for the heads up. I will keep you posted. Hopefully I can figure it out this Saturday. I have a USB to OBDII connector on the way to try and test with FORScan.

I have a scanner that will read that stuff as well for ya Kyle. I'm pretty busy thru the rest of the week but could scan it Sunday or mid next week.

You'll find that the Michigan chapter is pretty darn good at helping each other out... and drinking Rich's beer.
