I'm going to make it. I'm shooting for around 11:00. I have a job to do in the morning, and have to get it done before i go anywhere.

The stack is ready to go, the truck is ready to go. The camera guys are here. My spotter is here. I just have to set up the parking area the canopy and the PA system.

Cool news Alan!!

Switched radiator caps on Bullet, trying to see if it might be the culprit...but after about 20 min of idle , the gauge went hot...but the truck is still not acting hot...

 

I was planning on being there in a Ford... with my current luck...I might not make it at all...it has been a VERY LONG WEEK.

Larry if I even make it to Alan's and then make if back in time, I will stop by the square.

I noticed that Bullet was hard to start when I left tonight...usually just need to turn the key... drove home pretty good till I got to my road, then it wanted to die....I kept it going till I got to the house.... opened the hood and it sounded like the carb was boiling...bubbling and hissing....took off the air cleaner...and the carb was covered in fuel... so my hesitation off launch seems like is more of an issue than I thought...

 

Yeah - that sounds like a problem. It could be as simple as a bad float in the carb or possibly a fuel pressure problem.
